Approved protocols for Yachters to enter the Island.

Dominica’s Cabinet has approved protocols for Yachters to enter the island.

The announcement was made by Minister for Trade Ian Douglas, who said yachters have been requesting to dock here.

Douglas says reopening the Yachting industry during the COVID crisis is an opportunity for tourism.

Douglas says yachters will dock in a quarantine zone in Portsmouth upon arrival, and will move to a separate area after being cleared for COVID-19.

They will be punished for breaking quarantine.
