Government has reached an agreement to conduct an Environmental Impact Assessment ahead of construction of the International Airport.

Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit spoke to the media on Monday during a site visit to Joe Burton where construction has begun on 37 homes for relocation of displaced Wesley residents.

Mr. Skerrit said Government is seeking to use the services of local experts.

Meantime Prime Minister Skerrit said an agreement could be finalized soon for the construction of the international airport.
