A community stalwart of Grand Bay says he expects there will be a continuity plan for the late Edward Registe’s vision for the constituency.
Nomination Day for Grand Bay’s by-election is tomorrow. The Labour Party candidate Dr Vince Henderson has been in campaign mode as of last month, with one independent candidate Julius Gabriel publicly declaring that he will contest the Grand Bay seat.
The parliamentary opposition – United Workers Party – has indicated it will not field a candidate for the November 25th by-election.
Chairman of the DLP GrandBay Constituency Association Armour Thomas says Ed Registe’s legacy should carry on, even after his replacement.
Thomas says Henderson is privy to Registe’s plans he had outlined for the Grand Bay constituency.
