5 ladies will vie for the coveted title of Madame Wob Dwiyet 2019 at the Old mill cultural Centre tonight, the first show for the newly built stage.
The stage was completely destroyed by Hurricane Maria in 2017 but was replaced by a new concrete structure through funding from the Government of Dominica.
Chief Cultural Office Raymond Lawrence is calling on the general public to support the event tonight.
Meantime 7 young ladies will compete for the title of Miss Wob Dwiyet next week, another spectacular event forming part of activities to observe the island’s 41st anniversary of independence.
