The countdown begins for the crowning of the illustrious Miss Wob Dwiyet 2023, as five enchanting Dominican beauties prepare to captivate hearts and minds on the grand stage this week.
On Wednesday, the pageant will witness three rounds: the Talent display, Creole Creative Wear segment, and Wob Dwiyet round.
Gracing the stage will be, Diana (Dee-anna) John of Paix Bouche, Chalika (Sha-li-ka) Vidal of Salisbury, Arkysha (Ah-Kai-Sha) Jno Baptiste representing Grand Bay and Dubique, Kayla Telemaque from Wesley, and Tanisha Balson from Fond Canie.
Chief Cultural Officer Earlson Matthew applauded the courageous ladies for embarking on this journey of preserving and embodying Dominica’s cherished heritage
The Chief Cultural Officer also implored Dominicans to show out in large numbers for the National dress parade this year.
