Dominica’s tourism industry has been decimated by the COVID-19 pandemic.
That’s the report of the Dominic Hotel and Tourism Association (DHTA).
President of the DHTA Marvlyn Alexander- James says members of the industry have seen record losses due to the ongoing pandemic, with 32 hotels reporting that they have closed their doors.
James says a number of workers have been laid- off, but the DHTA is hopeful that the global presence of the virus will soon wane.
