24 Newly graduated nurses were welcomed by the Nursing Community
Newly graduated nurses from the Dominica State College (DSC) were on Tuesday welcomed by the Nursing Community here, at a time when they are gravely needed.
Matron of the Princess Margaret Hospital Vanya Bruney- Loblack told the Pinning and Capping ceremony of 24 nursing students from the DSC, there is an urgent need for nurses here.
Burney- Loblack said an existing shortage of nurses was intensified by the Coronavirus pandemic, but an influx of nurses from the DSC will ease the strain on the Health System.
Bruney- Loblanc also advised the graduating class to become familiar with new medical technology.
