24 Candidates to Contest December 6 General Elections

Forty-five candidates were duly nominated in the 21 Constituencies in Dominica on Nomination Day, Friday 18th November 2022, for General Elections on December 6.

In six constituencies, the sole candidate nominated has been declared duly elected. These candidates are Lakeyia Joseph, Paix Bouche, Roosevelt Skerrit, Vieille Case, Roland Royer, Cottage, Darren Pinard, Colihaut, Jullan Defoe, Petite Savanne and Dr. Irving McIntyre, Roseau Valley. All of these representatives are candidates of the Dominica Labour Party.

The Dominica Labour party will contest the remaining fifteen seats on December 6.

Of the remaining fifteen seats Team Unity Dominica will contest five seats in the Grand Bay, La Plaine, Marigot, Roseau Central, and St. Joseph Constituencies, while the other nineteen candidates will contest independently.

There will be 15 elections held on December 6.
