Twenty-two Dominican entrepreneurs will receive grant funding from a United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and Government collaboration under the ‘Future Tourism’ Programme.
Tourism Minister Denise Charles says, special emphasis was placed on women led businesses as well as those who embraced a digital platform for their transactions.
The twenty-two entrepreneurs will receive a collective total of over two hundred thousand EC Dollars, to address critical constraints within their businesses.
Charles says following the ceremony on Friday, recipients will undergo a period of evaluation, to ensure funds are effectively utilized within their businesses.
