The Dominica Association of Industry and Commerce (DAIC) will focus on improving the benefits and experiences of its members in the New Year.
That’s according to Lizra Fabien, Executive Director of the DAIC, who highlighted the organization’s accomplishments during 2019 in a press release on Tuesday.
Fabien says the membership size of the DAIC increased by 25% during 2019, and according to her, the DAIC was able to connect Dominican entrepreneurs to new international markets through trainings and seminars.
In 2020, the DAIC aims to further improve the member experience, Fabien says, through a membership value added program. This will see members gaining discounts and increasing business transactions to 17 other countries.
Fabien also highlighted several social involvements of the DAIC during 2019, including a review of the minimum wage in Dominica.
